TIPS
  • Start early...start preparing your freshman or sophomore year
  • Print applications and fill them out before completing the final application
  • Have someone read your application and essays before you submit
  • Check college and trade school websites for their scholarships
  • Do not be afraid to apply even if you think you cannot get the scholarship or get into the school.
  • Be prepared to complete an interview
  • Make sure the person you ask for a letter of recommendation from will give you a good one.
