1. A grid of randomly sequenced whole numbers from 1 through 1,000, without
replication, shall be printed in a layout of 12 columns by 56 rows in the same manner that a
football field could be subdivided into 1,000 1 ft. X 1 ft. squares.

2. The grid shall be posted on the cyranch.ffanow.org website and each page of the grid shall be positioned so that each number representing the 1 ft. x 1 ft. squares described above shall be as evenly spaced as possible to the satisfaction of the Event Judges.

3. After the start of the event, the three cows will be brought into the arena, and the cow will be allowed to wander anywhere within the confines of the arena.

4. Assuming the cows substantially defecates, within one (1) hour after being placed onto the
field, the Event Judges shall correlate the location of the ‘cow plop’ with the corresponding number on the grid mentioned in #2 above.

5. The individual who purchased the number corresponding to the square where the Event
Judges determine that the preponderance of the ‘cow plop’ landed shall be declared the
Winner of the Cow Plop Bingo, and such Winner shall be entitled to receive the Plop Prize.
Or, if no one purchased the specific number where the ‘cow plop’ landed, then the person
who purchased the square, the center of which being the closest to the centerpoint of the ‘cow
plop’ shall be declared the Winner as determined by the Event Judges.

6. The Event Judges shall identify the Winner and provide the Winner with an email and/or phone call informing him/her that he/she has won the Plop Prize. The Band/Orchestra Parents’ Association shall make every effort to notify the Winner that he/she has won the Plop Prize within three business days of the event.

7. To ensure that three people win the 2020 Event, the Event Judges shall identify at least six (6)
other 1 ft. x 1 ft. squares which are close to the centerpoint of the ‘cow plop’ so that if the
Winner cannot be located or if the Winner is disqualified, then a Winner, Alternate can be
Identified according to the method stated in #5 above.

8. The Event Judges decision of a winner is final.

EVENT PROCEDURES, ALTERNATE:

These alternate procedures shall be followed in any event or reason that the cow cannot perform her
duty as described in #4 above:

5A. The Event Judges shall select someone who shall be blindfolded and spun around 3 times.
From a distance of ten feet, he/she shall be given three (3) darts to throw at the grid
on the wall; however, if the dart does not hit within the perimeter of the numbers on the
grid, he/she shall be given the opportunity to try as many times as necessary until the
dart hits within the perimeter of the numbers. The dart does NOT have to stick in the wall.
The people who purchased the number that is hit by the dart (or the closest to being hit) shall

be declared the Winner of the Cow Plop Bingo, and such Winner and shall be entitled to
receive the Plop Prize as determined by the Event Judges.

6A. The Event Judges shall identify the Winner.

7A. To ensure that three people win the 2016 Event (alternate version), the Event Judges shall
identify six (6) other numbers which are closest to the impact point of the dart thrown in #5A
above so that if the Winner cannot be located or if the Winner is disqualified, then a Winner,
Alternate can be identified.
